the quality of our life is greatly affected by the time we spend with GOD .
t0day is the first day 0f the elective m0dule [pr0fessional image and etiquette] .
it was totally bey0nd my expectati0n . we dun nid t0 study . but we need to DODODO .
do what ?
perf0rm all th0se etiquettes ! LOLS.
though abit 0utt s0rt, i thank GOD for leading me to choose this elective .

what we are going to learn is pers0nal image, teleph0ne skills, conversational skills etc .
0ne of my assessment, is that the lecturer will call me at a certain time between 24 nov to 1 dec, and act 0ut a certain scenari0 . and i have t0 d0 r0le play . i need t0 dem0nstrate pr0per teleph0ne etiquette . meaning, even when the lecturer acts as an angry cust0mer and sh0uts at me 0ver the phone , i have t0 react appr0priately . GOD bless me . GOD, help me pass this .. teach me how to reply to such a situation .. :)
s0me tips i learnt t0day :
hairstyle - wherever you turn, you dont have to touch your hair.
prints - cannot be bigger than a 5 cent c0in . bcos e bigger e print, e casual it'll look.
heels -sh0uld n0t be more than 2.5 cm high . and should be broad heels , not thin heels .
`tips for guys formal wear,
light top, dark bottom .
avoid horiz0ntal strips as it is less formal.
no white pants, no green t shirt .
if shirt got strips, wear a PLAIN tie . your tie shld be darker than your shirt .
dont wear black and white as you'd look like a waiter .
your shoe shld be same colour as your pants .
socks should be long .
bla bla bla ..
what i worry about is , lecturer said she will look at our dressing, our make-up (she doesnt want to see pimples ! she wan us to cover everything up !! T.T ) , our posture and stuffs like that ..
she even taught us how to walk, how to climb stairs, and we will have to go through a job interview at the end of the elective .
so, alot 0f practice f0r us t0 d0 everyday .
next lesson , we g0to mingle with pple and give them our namecards and get their namecards too . by how ? by starting conversation with people that we do not know . i thank GOD that im used to talking to pple i dont know ;DD now, its more of a professional way tats all . hees .
